VOICE, IMAGINATION AND INTRIGUING PROPS
Trained at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland and with a decade experience as storyteller for international schools and kindergartens, Johana R Gunst uses her voice, imagination and intriguing props to tell her stories.
Props play an essential part in stories intended for a young audience, in particular for non-native English speakers, crucially providing a framework to the tale. Carefully selected to meet the needs of the presentation, Johana’s props range from simple toys, antics, musical instruments and more, providing a sense of time, smell and texture to help the story to develop in the audience’s mind.
An enchanting way for babies and young children to experience stories and for us to support them in developing key skills for early literacy in a fun and invigorating way!
